On Sept 5, 2018, Surf Equity won the fight for inclusion, the fight for a multi-heat division and the fight for equal prize money across all World Surf League global events. Oyster Point Marina

The Harbor District operates two facilities, Oyster Point Marina in South San Francisco and Pillar Point Harbor in Half Moon Bay. 

Ferry service between Oyster Point Marina and Jack London Square was launched on June 4, 2012.  Ride the new South San Francisco ferry service!

The District employs 27 people full-time, including harbormasters, harbor patrol, maintenance and admin staff. Over the last two decades, the harbor patrol has averaged 110 rescues per year and they have saved more than 100 lives.
